The Channel Excellence Awards is an annual event recognizing outstanding achievements in the IT industry. The 2025 edition was held at GOP Munich, and Richard Filmworks played a key role in capturing the event’s atmosphere. We handled the complete editing process, ensuring that the final video conveyed the prestige and excitement of the event.
Filmed by Richard Filmworks live at GOP Munich using a Sony A7 IV, stabilized with a Zhiyun Crane 4 gimbal, and paired with a Sigma 28-45mm f/1.8 lens. The interviews were filmed separately by an external production company in 1080p Rec. 709.
The received interview footage was carefully processed to improve audio quality and color grading before further edits were applied. Seamless cut editing was used to ensure that interviews were not interrupted by excessive B-rolls, maintaining a smooth viewing experience. Additional facial retouching and image quality enhancements were implemented using DaVinci Resolve to refine the final look.
We selected and synchronized four completely distinct tracks, each chosen to create a unique mood and seamless transition, ensuring a dynamic, engaging flow, and elevating the overall event atmosphere.
